National Pollution Prevention
Roundtable
2001 Awards Ceremony
Washington, D.C.
Dear Friends:
Congratulations to all participants of
the 2001 National Pollution Prevention Roundtable award
ceremony.
In particular I want to recognize the
Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County, the City of Los
Angeles Bureau of Sanitation, and the National Pediculosis
Association on being awarded the First Place Most Valuable
Pollution Prevention Award.
Their work to rid California's water
supply of harmful toxins has resulted in stronger health
protections for the people of our state. In addition,
their efforts will result in a cleaner, healthier environment,
thus helpinf to ensure the continued success of California's
thriving fishing and tourism industries.
Again, thanks to this year's winners
and the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable for your hard
work and dedication. Best wishes for a delightful evening.

Sincerely,
Barbara Boxer
